This rural complex consists of several independent houses located in a picturesque landscape of “La Mancha” (Quixote’s Country) one kilometre before arriving at Robledo village when driving along N322 road from Albacete to Jaén. Situated just on the geographical point where Vía Verde and Quixote's route forks. Both of them are ideal routes for walking, trekking, jogging, cycling, horse riding, and so on.
The place is rich in autochthonous vegetation, where there are a lot of Holm Oaks and Sabines (protected specie). The aroma of rosemary, marjoram, lavender and thyme surround the ambient.
The gastronomy of this region is the typical of La Mancha. The restaurant “Venta Bonanza” is less than 200 yards from the rural houses, where the traveller can palate different delicious dishes. If you wish to relish Robledo’s meals inside the village, you should visit “Bar Nuevo”, where you get the warm friendly welcome that render up the neighbourhood of this small village.
There are some paradises very near that visitors can not hesitate in going. Beginning with natural lagoons, the closest is “Arquillo’s Lagoon” where you could go by bicycle. A little bit further away, where is suggested to take the car, is “Villaverde’s lake”, but you do not forget to visit the protective forest of sabines. Further again, at about 35 milles, there are Ruidera’s Lagoons”. Another beautiful place not very far from the complex (44 milles) is “Mundo River spring water”, where visitor can see “Cueva de los Chorros de Riopar”, with a beautiful 100 feet cascade (famous waterfall).
Other tourist’s attractions that traveller should visit are:
- “Santuario de Cortes” is a devotional place for religious people.
- “Ermita de Villagordo” is a little hermitage where people from El Ballestero village, make two pilgrimage walks a year with Encarnación Virgin.
- Arquillo’s rupestrine pictures where you can see a red deer.
Next to this rural complex there are enchanting villages:
- Alcaraz, with its two famous towers “Tardón” and “Trinidad”.
- El Ballestero with its nature museum and San Lorenzo Church.
- Robledo with its delightful purlieus.
- Lezuza with its archaeological site of “Libisosa”, antique roman village.
- Etc.
Sorrounding villages and places, you can not leave without visit.
